ADRIAAN JANSE VAN RENSBURG

Adriaan obtained his LL.B degree from the North-West University in Potchefstroom. During his studies he was actively involved in student leadership, being a member of and eventually chair of the Student Law Council of Potchefstroom.

Adriaan served his articles at Bloemfontein law firm Kramer Weihmann & Joubert Attorneys, learning his trade in the litigation practice of the firm. During his articles he was named the top Criminal Law student as well as the top Trial Advocacy student while attending the Law Society of South Africa’s LEAD Law School programme.

In 2015 Adriaan joined Phatshoane Henney Attorneys and soon took charge of the Criminal Law division, building a strong reputation as a criminal law litigant and defence attorney and attending numerous high profile matters. Adriaan attends to bail applications (Schedule 5 and Schedule 6), after-hour bail applications and criminal representation and defence in criminal trials. He is also frequently involved in labour disputes presiding over disciplinary hearings and conducting CCMA representations.

Adriaan recently started his own practice, Adriaan Janse van Rensburg attorneys - taking the law to the people!

For Adriaan, every day has 24 hours in which he can assist clients. He makes a point of being available at all hours to provide professional and supportive legal services to clients.
